Events to Peep for the Months of February & March

In celebration of Valentine's Day, Black History Month, and Women's History Month, get a few of these events on your calendar to commemorate them all! Enjoy! 

The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater kicks off its weeklong performances on Tuesday, February 1st, with new works by choreographer Robert Battle including "For Four" and "Holding Space" and, as always, culminating with the soul-stirring "Revelations." 1:30 p.m. Tickets starting at $49. The incomparable Prince of R&B Soul, Will Downing, heads to the Birchmere on Friday, February 4th, bringing fans over three decades of hits and ballads from "Sorry I" to "Nothing Has Ever Felt Like This." 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $79. Get a jumpstart on your love groove when you head to City Winery DC on Wednesday, February 9th, when the Vine of the Rhyme series celebrates the 30th anniversary of Sade's Love Deluxe with a signature wine and music pairing event. 5:30 p.m. Tickets: $30. On Monday, February 14th, take your celebration of love to the next level when you head to Bethesda to witness the gift that is Grammy-award winning jazz and R&B singer, Gregory Porter. Calling all Candy Girls!
